Luis grew up in the Bronx, NY, learning business from his father and discovering his mother’s hidden writings. This combination fueled his drive to blend strong business skills with a passion for art. His screenwriting samples are available upon request.
Luis has participated in notable programs such as Mara Brock Akil’s Writer’s Colony Residency (2024), Black Boy Writes & Black Girl Writes Mentorship (2022), and more. He also gained hands-on experience by shadowing a Netflix series. His short film “Later is too late” was a Quarter finalist at the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards and won second at Shore Scripts Short Film Fund. Starting at 72&Sunny, he progressed to producing at Mother NY, McCann, and VEVO, solidifying his expertise in directing, writing, and producing across various mediums, including live music projects.
